Originally founded in 2012 as a CRM software called PayPanther, David and his co-founder pivoted and re-branded in 2014 as PracticePanther - a practice management and CRM software for lawyers.

By 2016, the company hit product market fit and experienced exponential growth that led to 3 offices in 3 years. With triple digit annual growth rates, the company was acquired in 2018 by Alpine Software Group (ASG), a VC firm from Palo Alto, California.

PracticePanther won the Stevie Award for the fastest growing legal tech company, and is currently the largest cloud-based legal software based in the US.
